    Parental Engagement and Partnerships

Parental engagement and partnership - North Baddesley Infant School

Over recent years, leaders at North Baddesley Infant School have refined their approach to developing effective parental engagement and partnerships.  This video explores some of the approaches they have used to ensure that:

    • the school fully understands the context and needs of families within their school community
    • feedback from families is acted on in a meaningful way
    • these partnerships drive meaningful improvements for pupils.

In a project commissioned by Hampshire Virtual School (Sept 2023-March 2024), a group of headteachers from schools in Havant and East Hants have engaged in a series of professional conversations about inclusive practice. The purpose of this work has been to identify areas of best practice in a range of contexts which we hope will support schools working with students who are struggling to engage in school full time.
