    With the chance to win an eco-school trip for your class and lots of other eco goodies, Recycle Week is the perfect opportunity to showcase your creativity and show pupils how their actions can make a difference. You can start with our PSHE and Science PowerPoint lesson to guide pupils through what recycling means, then take on one (or two) of our creative missions to enter into our competition prize draw!

    Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Partnership Offer 2024-25

    HIAS is pleased to offer a series of Diversity and Equality networks and EARA primary groups for schools. 

    The focus for the network meetings will be diversifying the curriculum and environment which will include an opportunity to review new resources, consider planning exemplars and good practice, and will provide an opportunity to share existing practice with colleagues.

    The Equality and Rights Advocates (EARA) meetings will provide an opportunity for the children to take a lead in promoting a more inclusive culture in their schools.

    Price: 0.5-day (HIAS rates plus travel) per school for academic year 2024/25.

    Climate Unity Virtual Conference - 25 September 2024

    We are pleased to invite you and your KS2 pupils to attend the Hampshire schools online Climate Unity conference this September. This event will be county funded so there will be no charge. This virtual conference will provide an opportunity for your pupils to engage in a range of online practical workshops as well as hear all about the climate change initiatives happening in Hampshire schools.

    • Pan Hampshire Toolkit for Challenging and Responding to Prejudicial Language and Behaviour

      A multi-agency toolkit aimed at helping schools to tackle prejudicial behaviour among children and young people and enable them to become more targeted in their response to discriminatory and negative attitudes towards difference. The Toolkit offers a new recording form, a pupil survey and a leaflet to inform parents and include them in the dialogue.
