  • Fareham and Gosport district offer

    District Offer

The district offer for 2024/25 has been designed to support the specific needs of school leaders in Fareham and Gosport. Information about the district, such as the proportion of pupils with SEND, FSM etc. has been used to underpin the offer. The needs of key groups - disadvantaged pupils and those with SEND - will be a 'golden thread' that runs through each of the offers. Sessions will typically take place in host schools within the district in order to minimise travel times and costs. Subscribing schools can send more than one attendee to each session.

There will be a requirement for a minimum number of schools to attend - typically 6 - in order to keep costs low and still cover inspector time.

    Networks

Local district networks are run to support school leaders to work together around common themes. The agenda is co-constructed by the network and facilitated by a Primary Phase Inspector. In addition, additional advisers attend to provide specific updates determined by the network. These have included input from colleagues from EPS, EFS and members of the HIAS team.  Sessions are hosted by leaders who are part of the network and are held in schools within the district. Up to two people form each school can attend.
