Primary Safeguarding Networks 2026-27
This network focuses on the practical leadership and oversight of safeguarding and child protection in schools.
The district network is facilitated by the local LLPR with some input from Cindy Pritchard (HIAS Lead Safeguarding Adviser).
These sessions are aimed at senior leaders and are designed to enable effective oversight of safeguarding. Each session focuses on a different aspect of the leadership of safeguarding. There will also be opportunities for participants to discuss local contextual safeguarding issues, problem solve and share best practice.
Please note, this network is the continuation of existing networks that have been running in Fareham and Gosport and Havant and East Hants but is now offered across the county at a district level. Sessions run concurrently across other districts, meaning attendees can attend alternative group sessions should dates clash.
Important: This network does not replace statutory DSL training and is separate to any existing DSL networks.
The course price entitles a school to two places.
